In late October 2019 BSWExeteco’s delegation of correctional services experts flew to Argentina to attend the ICPA’s 21st AGM and Annual Conference. Our team were honored to play an active role in the “Prison work as a rehabilitation measure” talk, one of conference’s most highly attended and noteworthy sessions.
The ICPA Annual Conference is one of the biggest international events in the prisons and corrections calendar. This year’s conference was attended by almost 500 experts, including representatives from over 70 different countries. The conference was held from 27th October to 1st November at the Hotel Panamerico in Buenos Aires.
Many of the attendees were heads of service or director generals, members of senior management, correctional practitioners, and experts in the corrections field from a range of different sectors. Our team was excited to meet new partners and discuss potential future collaborations with the aim of deepening international cooperation and improving penitentiary policies. The conference also provided a great opportunity to talk about new solutions and initiatives, and share the knowledge and experience gained from our 35+ years of industry experience.
