To assist the client – the government of an emerging West African market – in staying abreast of ever-evolving technologies and to compete with neighboring countries and the rest of the world, BSWi worked with them to develop a unique ICT pedagogical program for children in kindergarten right through to high school.

The program combined new technologies, computers, and tablets with physical learning aids such as blocks, playmats, and educational toys to help children develop their quantitative reasoning, creative thinking, advanced problem solving, and technical skills.

Exposure to technology from an early age helps combat any fears associated with the science and create a more technological mindset. This is turn aids in developing the country’s culture of technology as a whole.

BSWi also worked with the client to establish a teaching development program. This trained teachers to promote technology across the country, enhancing the client’s prospects on the world stage by creating a generation of technologically literate young people. BSWi assisted the client over the course of the implementation process with ongoing training and pedagogical support.

Drawing on our experience that a bright and colorful space improves productivity, BSWi also designed, renovated, and equipped existing classrooms to create fun, modern, and holistic learning environments.

The project is still ongoing and BSWi’s on-site team continues to share its knowledge and expertise by helping to train teachers across the country.
