The rapid deployment modular correctional facility solution met our client’s urgent need for accommodation to house their ever-increasing detainee population. This is an issue that affects detention centers around the world. It is vital to find a solution to ensure an adequate standard of living for prisoners that promotes both their safety and rehabilitation.

Our rapid deployment modular facility solution is based on our extensive experience in the correctional facility domain, as well as on a thorough and comprehensive design and development process.

The solution involves 1, 2 and 3-cell modular units, built using high-tech metalworking processes. The finished product meets international anti-vandalism standards to ensure inmate safety.

The units are built at a production plant rather than on the actual construction site. This allows for uniform manufacturing, quality control, and the use of assembly lines to increase efficiency. While the rapid deployment housing units (RDHU) are being processed, the construction site can be prepared to receive them. This ensures that all infrastructural work is complete by the time the first RDHU arrives onsite, and assembly can begin straightaway.

This process allowed us to deliver a turnkey RDHU solution just a few months after the project’s launch.
