The masterplan examined the country’s generation and distribution of electrical power to accurately assess the current situation and future needs.
BSWi developed computer models to generate transmission system simulations and scenarios with full technical reporting.
The main aim of the project was to define the technical and financial investment needed to create a cost-effective power generation and transmission system on a national scale.
To do this, BSWi created a load forecast based on the client’s current situation and both a short-term and a long-term generation plan. The power distribution and transmission infrastructure deployment plan were developed based on the results of the load forecast.
Using the results of the technical study, the BSWi team prepared a full economic and financial analysis.
The comprehensive National Electric Master Plan created by our teams allowed the client to confirm existing data. It also enabled them to take immediate action to improve the existing infrastructure based on the deployment plan, and to create a strategy to develop and improve the quality of electric utility services.
